* A day is up to 24 hours less handover time, a weekend is Friday evening to Sunday evening and weekdays are from Sunday evening to Friday evening. ** At least two Leaders will need to have done a Familiarisation & Safety day and other leaders are encouraged to come as well to help prepare for the cruise and decide on the safety rules for the group. Provisional bookings can be made by phone and will be held open for a maximum period of three weeks. Bookings must be confirmed within this time by sending a completed Booking Form and a Holding Deposit of one third of the total hire fee. The balance of the hire charge, the insurance fee if applicable and a separate cheque for the returnable Security Deposit must be received at least three weeks before the departure date. |

Deposit options Parties may choose between two methods of providing a deposit, which is held in case damage to the craft or equipment occurs, or the craft is involved in an accident resulting in an insurance claim against the Project. A cheque for £250 can be lodged with the Project, which is fully refundable if no loss, damage or accident occurs. Alternatively, parties may pay £125 of which only £100 is refundable. The remainder being an insurance excess waiver fee. Loss of items or damage to the boat other than by an accident, which results in an insurance claim, will be charged against the £100 deposit in the usual way. Life Jackets Life jackets are available for all crewmembers and leaders if required at no extra cost. Loss or damage to jackets will however be charged against the security deposit at £40 each. Parties requiring life jackets should complete the boxes on the booking form to ensure that correct sizes are ready for them at departure.
